Ramen Restaurants in Hongdae: 멘야산다이메 (Menya Sandaime)

Decided to eat some highly rated ramen from Menya Sandaime on a ridiculously stormy day. Despite being an udon/soba guy myself, I’d never pass on a steamy hot bowl of goodness that is ramen. I was pretty excited to give it a shot given all the rave reviews and get rid of the gloomy mood typically associated with storms. Byeol means “star” and I was left with the impression that I was among the stars after eating here. I had the pleasure of going to this Japanese sushi restaurant after volunteering in Junggok area. It’s in a rather unpopular neighborhood, but it’s totally worth it. You can get there easily by going to Junggok Station (중곡역) and heading out of exit 1.
